Think of it this way: We’re throwing a wedding reception without the wedding. It’s a chance to dance, talk to strangers, and – let’s hope! – find your person.
Sure, we know, there are apps for this. But how many times have you yourself said that swiping lacks substance, is missing the magic that comes with catching the eye of a stranger in real life? Too many times! Denver Dance Hall is exactly what you’ve been hoping for, the kind of event you would throw for yourself and your friends.

Here’s what’s included in the cost of your ticket:
Dancing, baby!
A live band will be rocking to songs you know and love all night long. When you register for a ticket, you’ll get a chance to request your favorite tune. We might even call it out during the party, so you can find out who shares your oh-so-unique taste. 🫢
Food ‘n booze (or not!)
Your ticket gets you one drink of choice, alcoholic or not, plus access to apps (the food kind) throughout the night. On top of that, there’ll be drink specials all night long and extra food available from the kitchen downstairs if ya like.
Conversations with strangers
Talking to strangers isn’t weird around here – it’s the norm. We’ll provide some light facilitation so you’re not totally on your own, but our hope is that you’ll fully lean into the idea of meeting someone new. If you want to get lucky, you’ve got to create your own luck.
Raffle entry
Your next date night might be on us! We’ll be doling out gift cards to local businesses – axe throwing venues, breweries, concert halls, you name it – all night long. If we do our job, your next date will be with someone you meet tonight!

Who’s behind this thing?
We’re two friends who fiercely feel that dating should be fun. We’ve been on the apps; we’ve gone to in-person meet-ups. Something always feels lacking. So, we decided to make the event that we’d actually want to attend.
Denver Dance Hall isn’t just about dating. That’s a big piece of it, yes. But it’s also about being new(ish) to a city – about wanting to meet people, but not fully knowing how. As transplants ourselves, we know that new-to-town trial-and-error process very, very well. We each came to Denver to build roots, and we want to create an opportunity to meet other people who care as deeply about this city as we do.
We’re doing this because, frankly, we give a shit – about making dating better, about celebrating Denver, about building community and bringing people together in the real world. We bet that we’ll be far-and-away the best dating event you’ve ever been to. We believe that the secret to making that happen comes from making the event itself an absolutely awesome time. Our goal is that everyone who comes through the doors of Denver Dance hall thinks “I might actually find my person here.” And, we want you to walk out of the doors at the end of the night with a few new numbers in hand, excited about whatever might come next.
But, even if that doesn’t happen, our hope is that you Denver Dance Hall makes you feel rejuvenated and genuinely hopeful about the state of dating — which, we know, is a rare feeling in today’s landscape.
If we do our jobs right, you’ll feel a sense of possibility from the moment you walk through the doors of Evans School. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll take that with you into other elements of your life too.
